Every action through Vortalis is recorded in an immutable, hash-chained audit log:
- Immutability: each log entry is cryptographically chained to the previous entry, making tampering detectable
- Hash chain verification: the integrity of the entire audit trail can be verified at any time through epoch-based chain validation
- Exports: export audit logs in JSON or CSV format for external compliance systems
- Regulatory tags: entries are automatically tagged with relevant regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, FCA) based on the data and services involved
